Disclosure - Start Playing Hard To Get + NEW TRACK

Just as I predicted about a year back, 2012 has seen Disclosure seal themselves as two globally respected and sought after producers, it seems like only yesterday the kindred duo were supporting SBTRKT on tour and now they're playing just about every gig known to man; I've been lucky enough (as have many) to watch Disclosure play on numerous occasions and one thing I've taken away each time is that they just keep getting better and better and better; its not so much the music that's shone but the improvement in the quality of delivery that's really astounded me.

I would say one thing for the likely pairing however and that is they are at a delicate stage in their careers; I mentioned earlier they've been playing a lot of gigs and in this day and age it becomes a hard and dirty game when artists succumb to the tempting and over-exacerbating lifestyle of a money making musician. Many of you reading this will say "fuck that, good for them" or "they're just having fun" and I wouldn't disagree with you; but for the people that go to festivals to see the live acts (about the only exclusive commodity left in modern music) then its no different than a song ruined through countless radio re-runs from the BBC; the song was never bad but the radio station - essentially a business - destroyed not only the songs integrity, but the artists too.

Take sex, daft punk or even cheese (cheese haters stop reading this and get the fuck off my blog); I think everyone would agree with me in saying that having less of any of these would make the orgasm, experience and taste all the more special when finally it does arrive. Essentially this is something only the artist can dictate; not the BBC, not the record label, not a dumb new advert with One Direction promoting the new nintendo 3Gash S..the artist. I suppose what I'm trying to say to Disclosure is live music is about the only weapon left in today's music industry and its what sets you apart, its time to start playing hard to get because the fans will not only respect you more but they will yearn for you like Rick Waller at the back of the KFC queue...I'm talking about a lonnnnnnnnng fucking queue by the way.

KFC enthusiast, Rick Waller

Anyway that's my rant over for the day, here's a dope new track from the gruesome twosome, I hope to hear it at one of the numerous gigs they will be playing later this year. Enjoy!
