When it comes to female rappers there's not a huge amount of obvious choice, and no Nicki Minaj; you do not fall under this category of "obvious choice", in fact I don't think I've even the heart to put you in the category of "choice", we'll just put you in the "your a fucking nob" category for now.
Anyway after doing some fishing for our often overlooked frisky female counterparts I came across an absolute gem, a diamond in fact, her name; Rapsody. Harking from North Carolina Rapsody manages to do the one thing all artist should dream to achieve; effectively tell their story through music (take notes Nicki). In Rapsody's case she raps-some might even say orates-her way through the track; her relaxed approach bringing more meaning to a song whose lyrics not only crave attention but demand personification.
Taken from her new album The Idea Of Beautiful I can't highlight enough how much I want people like Rapsody to succeed, women need her to put women's rap music back into the category of "choice"...Nicki you have my permission to leave the classroom, do some fucking homework next time.
